Love my new backpack!

Got the Jester backpack and I'm so happy with it! It's super comfy and holds everything I need for uni. The colors are great and it feels really sturdy. Definitely shopping here again!

Good jacket, shipping was okay

I got the McMurdo parka recently. The jacket itself is really good, feels very well made and super warm. It was exactly as described on the site. Shipping took about a week to Sydney, which is acceptable but not super fast. I wish they offered a slightly faster option for an extra charge sometimes. The overall experience was positive, and I'd consider buying from them again for the quality of the gear.

Good value on sale item

I purchased a Thermoball Eco jacket during their mid-season sale. I was looking for a decent jacket that wouldn't break the bank, and the sale price made it a really attractive option. The jacket arrived within the estimated timeframe. For the price I paid, the warmth and quality seem really good. It felt like a worthwhile purchase and good value for money, especially with the discount.

Consistent quality, always reliable

This was my third purchase from The North Face, and once again, they delivered. I picked up a pair of Vectiv hiking shoes this time. Just like my previous orders for a Denali fleece and a Base Camp duffel, the quality is consistently high. I've found their sizing to be reliable across different product lines, which makes online shopping much easier. They're a brand I trust for outdoor gear, and this purchase just reinforces that. Always good to know what you're getting.

Does anyone know if North Face does a student discount here in Australia? Trying to save some cash on a new backpack.

S Steven K. 1 week ago
Yeah, they definitely do! I got 10% off my last order with my student ID. Check their website, it's usually linked at the bottom.

They used to, pretty sure it's still active. It's not a massive discount but every bit helps.

Can you stack promo codes at North Face Australia? Got a newsletter one and saw another deal, wondering if I can combine them.

B Ben 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code per order. Tried it before and it just cancels out the first one.

R Richard 1 month ago
Definitely only one code at checkout. They're usually pretty strict about that.

Just curious about the returns. Is it a huge hassle if something doesn't fit? I'm eyeing a jacket but sometimes their sizing is weird for me.

A Adam Sanchez 5 days ago
Nah, returns are pretty straightforward. Just make sure it's unworn with tags and you're within the return window. Did one last month, no issues.

I think you can even return online orders to a physical store if that's easier for you. Just bring your order confirmation.

Is the Australian North Face website actually legit? Like, am I getting real stuff or is it some dodgy reseller?

D Donna G. 4 weeks ago
Yep, it's the official site for Australia. All genuine stuff.

100% legit. That's where I always buy my gear from. No worries about fakes there.

Anyone bought a puffer vest from them lately? Just wondering if the quality is still up there compared to, say, Patagonia or Macpac.

D Donna M. 4 weeks ago
I got a Nupste vest a few months back, still super warm and well-made. Feels just as good as my Patagonia one, maybe even a bit more durable.

My North Face vest is holding up great, but I think Patagonia generally has a slight edge on sustainability practices if that's a big factor for you. Quality wise, both are solid.
